The Geemarc ClearSound inductive silhouette earhook is for use with post aural hearing aid. As a guide it can be used on any equipment with a suitable headphone socket e.g. personal radios, minidiscs, CD players, cassettes, talking book machines, ipods etc, anywhere that personal stereo-style headphones do.
The Geemarc ClearSound inductive 50/50 earhook is novel listening product with an inductive silhouette earhook for use with a hearing aid on 'T' on one side and an earpiece on the other.
The earphone is used on the non aided ear and the inductive silhouette earhook with one hearing aid on 'T'. An earhook is worn by simply placing it over the ear beside the aid.
The earhook part provides an inductive output for use with the hearing aid T input; because each ear is provided with sound, a stereo signal can be heard by the hearing aid user.
The silhouette earhook is position sensitive - you need to experiment by moving itto get the best signal. Place the earhook over the ear between the aid and head, plug into the headphone socket and switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting.
The wiring of this product is normally earhook as the left channel and the earpiece as the right. Naturally the product can be used the other way around, you will still have stereo but with a reversed sound image - for those who know which side of a band the guitar player was.
