RNID, the charity for deaf and hard of hearing people, has given the thumbs up to the Geemarc CLA7 neckloop produced by telecoms expert Geemarc. The Geemarc CLA7 received a ‘recommended’ in a product review in the RNID magazine, One in Seven. The product from Geemarc's ClearSound range was one of six neckloops tested and judges praised its ease of use and sound quality.
The One in Seven testing panel looked at sound quality, strength of inductive signal, ease of use and comfort. The Geemarc CLA7 was given positive feedback by the panel, most of whom said they would be happy to own one. Our evaluation panel rate the product as good for use with the AmpliDect 250 or CL400/CL600/CL1400.

Neckloops are used by people with hearing aids to connect to different devices including mobile phones. The loop produces an ‘inductive’ signal that can be picked up by a hearing aid that has a T setting and gives a clearer sound without interference. The Geemarc CLA7 has undergone rigorous testing with different Motorola, Nokia, etc mobile phones and passed with flying colours.
